As an architect with a diverse background in lighting design, Zafer seamlessly integrates his comprehensive understanding of both disciplines into his work. His portfolio includes notable international lighting projects spanning across various sectors such as Commercial, Cultural, Healthcare, Learning and research, Public and Civic, Residential, Urban Design, and Masterplan in Canada, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and the UK.
In 2022, and after a decade of international experience in architectural lighting design, Zafer established ZDLD Architectural Lighting Design Studio in Canada.
In addition to his bachelor's degree in architecture, he is a Certified Lighting Designer (CLD), an associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), and a member of the Society of Light and Lighting (MSLL/CIBSE).
